RIP FEO Kevin Floyd

To those of you that may not know Kevin, he was an FEO at station 26 B-Shift.


Kevin Floyd, a 10 year veteran of the High Point Fire Department died yesterday. His funeral arrangements are as follows:

Visitation: Sunday, 7/5 6-9pm at the Chapel
Funeral: Monday, 7/6 2pm at the Chapel

Class A Uniforms is the required dress for fire department members attending the funeral service.

Former HPFD Captain Passes Away

Sorry for the late posting. Former HPFD Captain Guy Hedrick has passed away. His memorial service was held at the Cumby Funeral Home Chapel on April 2nd.

Passing of a former HPFD Secretary

Sydney Francis Frost passed away today. She was a former secretary for the HPFD. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.

HPFD Firefighter Hit By Car

Firefighter Scot Stanley was hit by a passing motorist on interstate 40, while on the scene of an automobile accident. As a result of the accident he will be out of work with a leg injury. It is unknown at this time how long. The driver of the vehicle was charged with failure to move over.

Scott is a firefighter on E26 B-Shift. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

The High Point Fire Department mourns the loss of Ret.Capt. Ronald Lee Kennedy. He passed away November 5, 2008. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
